Art Boonparn aka the Painless Surgeon is a fin de siècle decadent and punker making films to experiment and entertain.

His dad gave him a super 8 film camera and a bottle of whiskey when he was ten and sent him to matriculate at Tulane's A.B. Freeman School of Business so he would have the tools to produce his films. The years spent in New Orleans with his personal insanity frames the universe he creates in his work.

In a recent interview he declared "Celluloid over earnings per share!!"
